Tuesday, May 30th: Registration opens!
Come by the library to fill out a registration form for access to the SRP app Reader Zone!
Monday, June 5th: Start logging pages!
For the 2023 Summer Reading Program, we are again asking participants to meet a page goal to earn a small prize, but we are also bringing back the top reader awards! Any participant who reaches the page goal for their age group will be eligible for a prize, but the top 3 readers – those who read the most pages! – will earn trophies, along with an additional prize sponsored by the Friends of the Library. Books read beginning Monday, June 5th can be counted towards these goals. We are also doing the raffle tickets again for the grand prizes – see details below! See our FAQ page for more information!
Book drawings are held every Friday! Read a book, then enter the pages during the week into the Reader Zone app to be entered in each week’s drawing.
Earn badges all summer by participating in different Summer Reading events or by reaching reading goals to earn raffle tickets for entries in the drawing for the grand prizes at the Summer Reading Wrap-Up!

-Attend summer library events
-Complete outdoor activities
-Reach your reading goal
Each badge is worth 5 tickets. If you collect all the badges, you’ll receive 10 extra tickets. Participants will be able to choose which prize to put their tickets toward, and we’ll draw the winners at the Summer Reading Wrap-Up on Friday, July 21st! You’ll receive your badge log (reading log for adults) when you register for the program in the library beginning Tuesday, May 30. Participants will be responsible for keeping up with their badges. Badge logs can be turned in during the last week of the program, July 17-20, to receive tickets. Please let us know in advance if you will be unable to attend the library that week and we will try to make accommodations. See our FAQ page for more information!
This year we have events every Friday, some in the morning and some in the afternoon. This year, our morning programs begin at 10 a.m.
