How to Get a Library Card @ JCML
Getting a library card is super easy and requires just a couple of things!
If you’re under 18, you do have to have parental/guardian consent. If your parent/guardian already has a library card, just ask them to sign you up for one, too! They have a short application to fill out, then voila! Instant new library card, just for you!
If you’re at least 16 and your parent/guardian does not have a library card, and they do not want a card at this time, we can issue you a Student Card. Your parent/guardian will still have to sign consent, but you can still get your own card. Just ask a librarian for an application. We prefer the parent/guardian be present, but we can discuss with you if that isn’t an option.
